"Open letter from co-Pastor of Spirit of Hope MCC" Dear Friends,I am happy to introduce to you and recommend “The Mustard Seeds” for ministry in your city. The group has helped us immensely here in Kansas City with giving us the gift of their music on a regular basis. “The Mustard Seeds” home church is Spirit of Hope MCC-KC. Their independent ministry is one which has touched many at our church and as they travel they do take a part of us with them. I can tell you that these individuals all just love what they do and do it without any “primadonna” nature involved. They just want to serve God by making music and helping people know how God has touched their lives. One of the things we have been learning in our new culture here in Kansas City, is how to support auxiliary ministries without consuming them. I believe “The Mustard Seeds” has been a good example of this process. They are involved in our church in many ways, but still keep their own ministry and independence without loosing their connection to our new culture. I believe they are pioneering for us this new way of being in connection with ministries without place them under our control. I hope you can see how well this works too. I’ve known the members of this group for a long enough period of time to know that the blessings you receive will be worth the minimal cost of having them come to minister with you and the congregation of your church. Their story of how God has touched their lives will resonate with many members of your congregation and give hope to those who for the first time will hear of God’s love for them. I invite you to listen to their demo cd and then to prayerfully consider how “The Mustard Seeds” can help reach into your community with the Love Appreciation and Trust that they have to share with others. Hope you’ll be blessed soon with the sounds of “The Mustard Seeds.” Sincerely,
Rev. Kurt Krieger
